Let’s be honest: AI can write AL code already — with you… or without you.
It’s a dream world where you type “I want…” and the solution appears instantly. Publish and everyone is happy… until unexpected issues start popping up in completely unrelated places.
This workshop is about making AI your reliable development teammate, not just a “Yes, you’re absolutely right” assistant.
We’ll build a real Business Central feature using an agentic workflow: starting from a short product requirement, turning it into a step-by-step plan, and implementing it in AL using modern tools and available MCPs — while keeping quality under control. The focus is not on “prompt tricks”. It’s on creating a repeatable process where AI helps you move faster without breaking your architecture and standards.
Throughout the day we’ll explore practical ways to guide the agent with rules and best practices, keep changes reviewable, and use AI for the parts of development that usually eat time — but become even more important in agentic development: tests and documentation.
What you’ll take away:
Let’s make AI work with you — not instead of you.
Workshop date: Tue 9 or Wed 10 June (This is a one-day workshop)
